Marketing management in motion: How does the Indian customer stir when his long suppressed aspirations are reachable?


The Indian consumers dormant aspirations find an outlet in TATA Nano.
Something that was unreachable till now has become reachable and these are just the beginnings. The car was displayed in a maidan in Kerala state and lone wolf sneaked in as prospective customer too. The man who is on the driver's seat checking out the vehicle is a prospective customer, a daily wage earner who earlier used to be a driver. He is therefore informed about the product as a user. He asks a lot of questions from a driver's point of view.

No need to explain why this is a lone wolf adventure. Lone wolf was on a different mission with the students on a tree counting campaign and found it convenient in the waiting time as the Nano was parked close by in the maidan (field). The consumer ostly asks about the finacne and also the technicalities such as where is the battery etc.
